Volunteers Needed: Help Build Hope in Alaska. Food and lodging is provided. Read more

Help Build Hope in Alaska
Alaska is a land of unparalleled beauty with its snow-capped mountains, pristine lakes, and rugged wilderness. It is also a place of long, dark, cold winters, and of isolated, wind-swept villages where depression and alcoholism can be prevalent. The state's suicide rate is twice the national average, with Alaska Natives accounting for a disproportionate percentage.
It is a place that needs the hope of Jesus Christ.
Samaritan's Purse is helping to proclaim the Good News by constructing two new churches. We need skilled construction workers willing to make a difference in the lives of Alaskan residents at the following locations:
Kipnuk, where we are building a parsonage and a church. (click here for more info)
Nome, where we are building a church. (click here for more info)
Food and lodging is provided by Samaritan's Purse. Volunteers must arrange their own transportation.
Please consider being the hands and feet of Jesus by using your unique skills in Alaska. You can be part of the beautiful gift of providing locals with a brand new church that will proclaim the hope of the Gospel. It'll be an experience you'll never forget!
